SO.. coffee on hold for a day of install. I pulled an allnighter trying to install a giant foam cube. Went to bed at 6:30.. jack hammers started at 6:45.. up at 9.. yikes. Got down to kafeneon to see what i had done (well actually to see if it had fallen)… I think they built the Pyramids this way. Check out the sweet scaffolding. Bought myself some Life.. i needed it. and alas.. it worked.. anyway I was soon joined by Stelios and Toula.. great people couldnt have done the show without them. Here we are enjoying lunch sorry about the picture my point and shoot is having focus issues. Install went well… some cleaning.. some drilling.. some painting…etc.. here is some of the crew… hard at work… really though And another with Stelios and finally no install would be complete without…

Got a lot of work done today! Getting ready for the show.. So other than answering a few passers’ by questions. I think a few of them will come to the show. Not much coffee served today…. other than the 2 cups i made myself… Ryan and Nicole left, it was fun having them here Ryan took my photo in front of kafeneon. Maybe a reason I had no takers on the coffee was that i was drilling holes in the wall and taking apart electronics. not sure.. does it sound all warm and kafe like? Personally i like my coffee with chunks of wall in it. Anyway here are some images from that….. and im out.. stay posted for the show images!electronics some glass and a hole in the wall.. now occupied by a motor.

WOW.. what can i say. An amazing night of lectures at kafeneon. A great showing and great fun! Complete with Wine and …Muffins.. Super classy!
The Crowd.. getting ready o Rumblllleeee.
Hector aka “Hector Guerrero” (not mexican) enters to screams, whoops and chants.. a raucous crowd
Hector spoke (in greek) about the finer points of professional wrestling.. like flaming tables…
…how to properly apply a “figure four”…
…the importance of an entrance… pyrotechnics… classic pro wrestling icons.. pretty much everything, including…
Why not to talk on your cell phone during someones lecture
unbeknown to the crowd Hector had a friend start instigating at the end of the lecture.. which turned into a supercharged impromptu match.
complete with a “three count”
Following the Ballet with Violence… Giulia Renzi a ballet dancer since the age of 4 gave a passionate and informative lecture on ballet, contemporary dance, and contemporary ballet. She was amazing… she was just talking and striking poses.. i think without knowing.
With the help of the crowd, Giulia shows us the classic basic positions in ballet
Second Position (i think)
Giulia showed some clips from contemporary dance and distinguished it from classical Ballet
And then showed us an amazing example of Contemporary Ballet
And a classic Curtain Call from the evenings performers/lecturers
